Please note that classes are now returning to IN-PERSON format with a possibility for limited virtual class options. Student educators may be required to be vaccinated and/or masked during in-person presentations in accordance with shelter policy.

If you are interested in the Student Educator Position for Homeless HEAL, please fill out the application below. Most answers are required.

Scheduling

Student Educators are expected to participate with the organization for the entire academic year (until the end of the Spring Quarter). Student Educators are allowed to continue participation after graduation and/or for longer than an academic year.

Student Educators can expect approximately 1-2 hours of time commitment per week. While most work can be virtual, Student Educators are required to participate in-person for at least two final presentations per academic year and necessary mock presentations.

Eligibility for Homeless HEAL:

All grade levels of students are encouraged to apply (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate Student, Returning Student) from any university (community college, higher education, etc.). We happily take AP credit into consideration.

Homeless HEAL seeks applicants who have a strong level of understanding in the biological, chemical, and physical mechanisms of the human body.
