Homeless HEAL’s curriculum emphasizes health topics that are most applicable to San Diego’s homeless and underserved communities. Our organization strives to educate our clients on how to better manage their health.

About Student Educators

Student Educators are members of Homeless HEAL who develop and teach the classes based on structured curriculum. Two Student Educators will work with together to complete a presentation under the guidance of a Lead Instructor.

Covid19 Note: Since Covid-19, classes have been taught remotely. Stay tuned for in-person and hybrid opportunities!

Eligibility

All grade levels of students are encouraged to apply (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate Student, Returning Student) from any university (community college, higher education, etc.). We happily take AP credit into consideration.

Homeless HEAL seeks applicants who have a strong level of understanding in the biological, chemical, and physical mechanisms of the human body.
